What is involved
There is a lot involved in creating a website. When you look at a page it looks like something that would be able to be created relativly quickly. However website design is 1/5 web creation and the rest is planning. This is why Affordable Computer Techs takes the time to make sure that we understand you, your business and your goals. Once we have understood your goals and what you are interested in creating it is time to create a layout, and color scheme.
Development Standard
When creating websites everything is created to w3c standards. This means that when viewing the site different browsers( IE, Firefox, Chrome, etc) it will be able to display the website more consitantly. When building the site the most recent techniques are use for the browsers that support them, when a browser does not support any new technology, gracefull degradation (make site viewable without features). This makes the site look the best it possibly can for all users.
Development Process
- A meeting to discovery what you and your company are about, and what makes your company what it is
- Decide what content you want on your website, and what the goal of the website will be. Discuss why people would go to your website, and why they would go back.
- A mock up, or image of you website will be created to ensure we are creating a website that lines up with your vision. Changes are then made to the mockup as needed
- Once the mock up has been approved, creation of the website is started.
- As the site is created we will provide you with regualar checks to make ensure that the site is on track with your visions.
- You can have regular updates with your website.
- Any small changes can be made to the website
- Your website is now live and ready to start reaching your customers!
